Momitalk MiniPC User Guide

This guide provides detailed instructions on setting up and operating the Momitalk MiniPC. The MiniPC is designed to facilitate seamless recording of ultrasound sessions and manage the associated media effectively.

Safety Precautions

For your safety, please adhere to the following guidelines:

- Always place the MiniPC on a stable, flat surface.

- Avoid exposing the device to water or extreme temperatures.

- Remember to disconnect the power supply before conducting any maintenance tasks.

 

 

1. Getting Started

To begin using your Momitalk MiniPC:

  • Power On: Press the Power button located on the left corner at the front of the MiniPC.
    • Wait for the device to say, “Momitalk Initiated,” and ensure the LED Indicator is green
  • Pairing the Barcode Scanner:
    • Power on the Momitalk PC and press the clicker on the Wireless Barcode Scanner to pair.
    • A blue light on the scanner confirms a successful connection.

 

2. Operating Instructions

Placing the Device in "Ready to Record" Mode:

  • Step 1: Scan a barcode to place Momitalk in “Ready to Record” mode.
    • The speaker will announce “Momitalk Ready to Record.”
    • Ensure the LED indicator is green before scanning. After the audio cue, the LED will turn solid blue.
  • Step 2: When the LED turns solid blue, the recording will start automatically upon detecting motion on the ultrasound machine's screen.
    • The LED will flash red to indicate active recording.

3. Recording and Capturing Media

During an active recording session:

  • Capturing Photos: Use the wireless clicker included in your package. Press the capture button to take photos.
    • A short beep indicates a successful capture.
    • Multiple photos can be captured during a single recording session.

4. Pausing and Ending a Recording

  • Pausing a Recording: Scan the “Pause” QR code.
    • Note: While a recording is paused, screenshots cannot be captured. Resume the recording to enable screenshot capture.
  • Ending a Recording: To finish recording, scan the [Finish] QR code.

5. Viewing and Managing Media

After completing a scan:

  1. Customer Viewing: Hand the brochure with the barcode to the customer and guide them to download the Momitalk app to view their media.
  2. Admin Portal Access: Media can also be viewed from the admin portal.

Note: Depending on the internet connection, media upload may take a few minutes to several hours. Inform clients of potential delays if you experience slow or intermittent internet connections.
